Crucifix with framing in wood called Saint Lucia carved in relief with foliage, vine branches, flowering bouquets and staples; cross in blackened fruitwood; carved ivory Christ, head raised to heaven, hips girded with a perizonium held by a cord with a drop on the right hip and flap on the front, legs bent and feet parallel, titulus and skull. Coat of arms azure with a golden fess between three golden bezants and charged with two shells and a flower, ecclesiastical hat with a row of pompons in crest. Nancy, Bagard workshop, mid 18th century H. : 87 cm - L. : 52,5 cm H. of Christ : 38 cm - Gross weight : (slight accidents and restorations, later coat of arms) These coats of arms belong to the Gissey family, some of whose members were councilors at the baillage of Metz and whose Jean-Baptiste (1644-1723) and his nephew Antoine (1666-1738) were canons of Metz cathedral; their burial in the cathedral with epitaph bears the same shield.
