Important boar clock in patinated bronze, gilt bronze. Gilt bronze base decorated with torn leather, scrolls and stylized foliage, on which rests the boar on a mound. Dial inscribed in a red lacquered drum, signed LEPLAT in Paris, like the movement. Louis-Antoine Leplat master in 1733, installed rue d'Argout until 1737 then rue Echelle Saint Honoré until 1764/65. The clock is surmounted by an Indian love in gilt bronze. H. : 60 cm, W. : 36 cm, D. : 29 cm Composed of elements of the XVIIIth century, such as the repatinated boar, the drum and the top with the Indian.
