In the evening, he was taken by a choking attack. It was pulmonary edema. We struggled all night and by morning the heart failed. He did not suffer much and the last moments were calm. His face was rested and rather rejuvenated [...]". Mme de Castries took care of Arthur Mugnier's library and papers (correspondences, manuscripts, etc). Broglie evokes then the arrest of Robert-Jean de Vogüé, then "at the head of an important Champagne house", by Otto Klaebisch and adds "it is thus that the occupants understand the collaboration! -CHAUMEIX, André.
