In-8, full brown calf, cold-stamped frame on the boards, spine ribbed, gilt edges. 3 (out of 4) clasps without fasteners (worn binding). 108 ff on vellum. The almanac with text in French and Latin covers the period from 1518 to 1528. Text in gothic characters in Latin. Page of 24 lines framed with a gilt border. The publisher's imprint on the title indicates the mark of Guillaume Godard. The illustration consists of the anatomical figure, 69 finely illuminated framed woodcuts, 14 of which are large full-page engravings, and numerous capitals rubricated in red and blue. Beautiful book of hours printed for the use of Rome. The copy listed in the Morgan Library in New York has 112 pages and is illustrated with 15 large and 64 small illuminated woodcuts. The pages are inverted in some quires. The f.100 is cut on 3 X 4,5cm. Marginal brown stain on 2 ff.
