Large mantel clock in regule with golden patina, representing Cosette, character of the novel Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, resting on a rectangular pink marble base ending with four square feet bearing on the front a gilded brass plate engraved with the inscription: "Cosette, by L. and F. Moreau (Mlle (médaille) d'Or)", framed by a pair of regule vases decorated with garlands of flowers. Wear of the time, but good condition. French work, signed, circa 1890-1900. Clock : H. : 41 cm - L. : 37 cm. Vase : H. : 33 cm - L. : 12 cm.
