Format in-12 (175 x 110 mm), bound in vellum, flat spine decorated with stylized flowers, title in gold letters. Wear and tear, but good condition. See illustration on page 23. Historical : First edition of the most unexpected work of Mme de Genlis composed while she was occupying and holding salon in the most beautiful apartment of the Arsenal. She offered this literary curiosity to the wife of Joseph Bonaparte, Julie Clary, Queen of Naples (Marseille 1771 - Florence 1845).
