The end of the flood, painting with glued threads, Italy, 18th century, polychrome silk threads and metallic threads glued with wax on cardboard, the complexions are painted in tempera on silk satin, cartel painted on paper of the verse of Genesis: Non igitur ultra percutiam omnen animam viventem, sicut feci, I will no longer strike everything that is alive as I did. Initials of the embroiderer on the bottom, AR. F. most likely for Andrea Rocchi known for a set of paintings in glued threads commissioned by the Spanish Queen Isabel Farnese wife of Philip V and kept in the Royal Palace of Saint Ildefonso, (rare small stains), 28.5 x 39.5 cm.
