Pays-Bas méridionaux, vers 1480
Coronation of the Virgin in walnut carved in high relief, element of an altarpiece. Mary, seated at the right of God the Father, hands joined, is wearing a crown resting on long wavy locks of hair falling on her shoulders. She is dressed in a robe and a large cloak, one side of which returns to the front, forming very architectural folds. God the Father is holding his right hand up in a gesture of blessing, he is wearing a tiara with three crowns, the flaps of which fall on the front of his shoulders; a part of his cope is on his knees, a globe at his feet. H. : 36,5 cm - L. : 40 cm (Small restorations)
