LARGE ORANGEADE COVERED PICHET. By FABERGÉ, Moscow, before 1896. Of flared downward form, crystal, with cut decoration of alternating twists of flutes and a diamond frieze, silver mount with openwork grip, decorated with branches au naturel ending with water lily leaves and engraved on the front with a dedication in Cyrillic characters: "Prize offered to Mikhail Abramovitch Morozoff, best hunter of the exhibition of the Alexander II hunting society, 1899", vermeil interior. Good condition. Title mark: 84, Moscow, 1896. Goldsmith's mark: K. ?A?????: (C. Fabergé) and mark of imperial privilege. Inventory number: 6285 and 8372. H.: 28 cm - Diam.: 12 cm. History: Mikhail Abramonvitch Morozoff (1870-1903), was a Russian entrepreneur, member of the Morozoff dynasty, who was a patron of the arts and collector. Reference: see a crystal cup mounted in the same way and decorated with water lily leaves, in the book "Fabergé a comprehensive reference book", by Tatiana Fabergé, published by Slatkine, in 2012, page 416.
