NOGENT-SUR-MARNE/VALSE MUSETTE: 1 original... - Lot 279 - Coutau-Bégarie
NOGENT-SUR-MARNE/VALSE MUSETTE: 1 original manuscript of the song "AH! LE PETIT VIN BLANC", a huge popular success which made the whole of France dance in the guinguettes and the balls. A song created by the lyricist Jean Dréjac and the composer Charles Borel-Clerc in 1943. The song Ah! le petit vin blanc was performed for the first time on stage in November 1943 by Michèle Dorlan and became the theme song for the German occupation television. It was not until the Liberation and the recording of Lina Margy on the Polydor label in 1945 that the song became a huge success. During this period, nearly 2 million copies of the score were sold in a few weeks. An absolute record. Ah! Le petit vin blanc has been used as a soundtrack in many films. The song has become the anthem of the town of Nogent-sur-Marne, and has often been featured in numerous Asterix albums by Goscinny and Uderzo, and has been covered by artists as diverse as Lucienne Boyer, Colette Renard, Tino Rossi, Laurent Voulzy and Patrick Bruel. Format 22X30 on 3 restored leaves. Exceptional document.
