JACQUES BREL (1929/1978): Author, composer,... - Lot 37 - Coutau-Bégarie
JACQUES BREL (1929/1978): Author, composer, performer and actor. 1 floppy disc engraved on one side, of an original song by Jacques Brel: "Pourquoi faut-il que les hommes s'ennuient". This song was recorded between March 6th, 7th, 9th and 14th 1962 at the Barclay Studio on avenue Hoche in Paris. For the record, this song was originally meant to be on Jacques Brel's 6th studio album. But when François Leterrier directed the film adaptation of Jean Giono's novel "Un roi sans divertissement", he asked Jacques Brel for a song. The song was immediately removed from the album and included in the film which was released in cinemas on April 30th 1963. It is in perfect condition, in its original sleeve on which the singer has written his name.
