Needlepoint lace, Aemilia Ars and Puncetto, Italy, late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Aemilia Ars "Point de Bologne" lace entre-deux in ivory-colored cotton, tightly worked with the needle in a well-constructed, repeated pattern of foliage and stylized flowers very close to the model illustrated in the book "MERLETTI E RICAMI DELLA AEMILIA ARS" 1929 TAV. XXXI - 189, Mrs. Elisa Ricci. Dim. 78 x 8,5 cm (good condition) Two laces in Puncetto, one of them cream on a carmine fabric, Dim. lace 30 x 3,5 cm (good condition) and a set of four pieces with the same pattern in straw cotton, Dim. 43, 35, 23 and 24 cm x 5,5 cm. (good condition, some stains)
