Two embroidered handkerchiefs, covenant arms and crown, France, 1875. Wedding handkerchief in fine handloom and beautifully embroidered in a corner with plumetis, sand stitch and thrown stitch, the arms of alliance for the marriage of Baron Henri LE PELLETIGER de GLATIGNY (1847-1910) with Octavie BAUDENET de PERRIGNY (1854-1920) marriage which took place in 1875, the coats of arms under tortil of baron and between a greyhound and a lion. (good condition, a few tiny holes and a small recovery to the linen) And a handkerchief embroidered with a gothic monogram under tortil of Baron, the border with garland of small fruits and foliage. (some small accidents to the linen) We thank Mr. Dominique Perrin forhis precious help concerning the identification of the coat of arms
