Metal lace borders, bobbins, 2nd half of the 18th and 19th century. A large silver bobbin lace border from the 2nd half of the 18th century with silk core, with large symmetrical motifs, in three parts, two of which with the scalloped border, Dim. 80 and 85 cm x 15 cm and one part without the small border, Dim. 1,20 m x 10,5 cm (good general condition, oxidation) Cf. Levey, fig. 275B A large 19th century silver guiped bobbin lace border with silk core, silver flat thread and outline thread of the motifs decorated with small hollowed out dots, silver sequins, German production from the Erzgebirge, Dim. 97 x 12 cm to which we enclose a yardage of silver metallic lace with double shell border in silver flat thread, Dim. 1,55 m x 44 cm. (oxidation in places for both)
