LARGE SERVING TRAY, CHRISTOFLE, PARIS, CIRCA 1870. Silver plated, oval shape, with openwork handles on the sides with twisted decoration ending with leafy grips. In the center of a medallion are engraved two batons of marshal of France under ducal crown. Coat of arms belonging to Patrice, comte de Mac-Mahon, duc de Magenta (1808-1893), President of the French Republic from 1873 to 1879, surrounded by a wreath of flowers and laurel leaves. Slight wear from the time, but good general condition. French work of the Christofle house, bearing the n° 310877. L. : 76 cm - L. : 54,5 cm.
