SERVICE D'APPARAT DU CHÂTEAU D'EU, POUR LA TABLE DU ROI LOUIS-PHILIPPE. MANUFACTURE ROYALE, SÈVRES, 1846. Hard porcelain dinner plate, from the service of King Louis-Philippe for the Château d'Eu, with alternating cartouche decoration of polychrome flower bouquets on a black background and cameo style attributes on a brown background enhanced by friezes and gold scrolls on a light green background. Slight wear to the gilding, but very good condition. Pink marks of the painter : Eugène Richard, active from 1833 to 1872. Hollow mark of the moulder : Adèle-Joseph Carré (1803-1858), active from 1842 to 1858, dated (18)45 Gold mark of the gilder : Jean-Louis Moyez, active from 1818 to 1848 and LP under wreath 1846. Red mark with a stamp : château d'Eu under wreath. Diameter : 24 cm.
