Les belles histoires de l'Oncle Paul is an educational series created in 1951 by Jean Michel Charlier and illustrated by Eddy Paape for Spirou. Its public success allowed many authors to collaborate in it, including Gérald Forton (cartoonist on Bob Morane, collaborator of Jacobs, Teddy Ted, storyboarder for Hollywood...), son of Louis Forton (creator of Les Pieds Nickelés) .
