LARGE STORES - LES GALERIES LAFAYETTE - The mastery of Applied Arts Advertising fan for the Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris from the illustration with a view of Venice by Jean Gabriel Domergue. On the reverse side, "La Maîtrise/ director Maurice Dufrène/ Ateliers des Arts Appliqués/ des Galeries/Lafayette". The art workshop, founded in 1922, is directed by Dufrène (1876-1955), with Jean and Jacques Adnet as collaborators. Has kept a rare label stating: "The organization of this ball is due to J.G. Domergue. The decoration was composed and realized by "La Maîtrise" of the Galeries Lafayette with Maurice Dufrène". Printed paper sheet. Wooden frame. (wear and tear)
