The Games of Venus and Cupid, circa 1730 Folded fan, the leaf in skin, mounted in English, and painted with gouache of Venus on a cloud with Cupid holding a quiver. A love takes out one of his arrows from a dolphin. Reverse side painted with a cartel with a nice view of a harbour and fishermen. Mounted in ivory* pierced, carved, engraved, gilded and enhanced with mother-of-pearl, decorated with houses, sheep, loves and shepherds. Re-decoration of the face, with a blue line. H.t. 26,5 cm H.f. 12 cm
