KOVCH IN VERMEIL. Decorated on the upper part of a broad frieze of arabesques and polychrome floral motifs on a gold amati background, set in the centre of an antique coin bearing the effigy of Emperor Peter II (1715-1730), dated 1728, the socket is decorated with two peacock heads on a feather background set with sapphire and ruby cabochons. Accidents, but good general condition. Title stamp: 84, St. Petersburg, before 1896. Goldsmith's mark: illegible. Height: 3 cm - Width: 12 cm - Depth: 7 cm. Gross weight: 82 grs
