MILITZA NICOLAÉÏVNA, Grand Duchess of Russia... - Lot 401 - Coutau-Bégarie
MILITZA NICOLAÉÏVNA, Grand Duchess of Russia (1866-1951), born Princess of Montenegro. Black-bordered correspondence card signed "Mamoun" addressed to the prince, undated (probably in 1929 or 1930), addressed to his son Prince Serge Georgievich Romanovsky, 8th Duke of Leuchtenberg (1890-1974). Text in Russian. Translation: "Dear Serge, yesterday I received your telegram. We will carry out your instructions. I hope your health is good. It is frightfully cold and damp at the moment in Paris. Snow is falling. I was told your house in Bry was cold. My health is not much changed, thanks to medication and diet. The tests are normal, but I don't feel well. And I'm pretty desperate. Give you a big hug."
