LARGE SERVING PLATTER. In silver-plated metal, oval in shape, with contoured and chiselled edges of fine flutes held by crossed knots, engraved in the centre of the monogram (C.C.) under the royal crown, probably belonging to Prince Charles-Albert of Savoy-Carignan, King of Sardinia (1798-1849), in a decoration of foliated scrolls, volutes and flowers; on the border is engraved the coat of arms of the House of Savoy, with openwork handles on the sides. Italian work from the mid-nineteenth century. As is. L.: 72, 5 cm - W.: 51 cm.
