CHARLES-ALBERT, King of Sardinia (1798-1849). Set of four beautiful antique lithographs representing him at various moments of his life: signed Constantin Sereno, printed in Turin by Junck & C°, dated 1842; signed Fondraz, printed in Turin by Fratelli, dated 1841; signed M. Dean, printed in Turin by Pietro Ferrobraje, dated 1850; one printed in Turin by Giovanni Scarpari, depicting King Charles Albert of Sardinia posing from the Paradise where he is, his hand on the head of his son Victor-Emmanuel of Sardinia, future King of Italy, facing an allegory representing the peninsula whose chains that held it prisoner have just been broken. Each of the lithographs is adorned with a coat of arms of the Royal House of Savoy. Freckles, creases, but good condition. H. : 45 cm - W. : 60, 5 cm ; H. : 55 cm - W. : 40 cm. H.
