AAGE, Prince of Denmark (1887-1940). Household set, in silver plated metal, model with fillets held in place by crossed ribbons, engraved on each piece of the monogram A.M. (Aage and Mathilde) under the royal crown and comprising: twelve forks, twelve knives (steel blades), twelve soup spoons, twelve dessert forks, twelve dessert spoons, eight cheese knives (steel blades) and ten small dessert spoons. Time wear and oxidation, but good condition. English work by Eklington & Co. Various formats. Provenance: offered on the occasion of the marriage of Prince Aage of Denmark to Mathilde Calvi di Bergolo (1885-1949), celebrated on 14 January 1914 in Turin.
