Pair of printed paper demonstration curtains (?), probably from Alsace, circa 1860-1880, polychrome printing on honeycomb embossed paper with floral decoration of uprights, in candelabra. Lining of red and cream printed paper with machine-stitched boteh seedlings; metal suspension rings are needle-stitched, (some wear and tear and small holes along the folds), 232 x 100 cm.
