CUP AND SAUCER MADE OF VIENNA PORCELAIN. Decorated with a polychrome portrait of Emperor Franz I of Austria (1768-1835), dressed as an officer of the hussars of the guard, on a matt gold background and framed by a gold laurel frieze. Jasmine" shaped cup, with a flared and curved neck, raised handle with floral decoration, inside with a gold background surmounted by a frieze of gold foliage on a white background. The saucer is slightly flared and rests on a heel, alternately decorated with stars and golden laurel branches on a mat gold background. Blue markings on the reverse of the cup and saucer from the Vienna manufactory, circa 1829. Very good condition, wear of time on the saucer. H.: 10.5 cm - Diam.: 10.5 cm and 18 cm.
