Set of 4 L.A.S. and C.A.S.: "Fo. Duchess of Charters", addressed to Countess Paul Laffleur de Kermaingant, née Marguerite Binder (1853-1923), dating from 1900 to 1901, various formats, some letters are on letterheaded paper with her monogram. Text in French, 4 pages. Text: - Randan, August 9, 1921: "(...), she is so happy that the brooch has pleased you. She hopes that you will wear it often in memory of her. We all hope on our side that we will have the opportunity to see it on you in Larache. We would be so glad. Due to the legation of documents for our uncle's wedding, the ceremony has been postponed to the 20th. When do you expect to come to Vichy. (...)" - January 3, 1928: "(...), I hope you had a merry Christmas. Ours was a very merry one, in spite of the gaps that 1927 left.
