Set of 10 L.A.S., including Dukes of Luynes, La Trémouille, Gaston de Monicourt and Maurice Emery addressed to Count Paul Laffleur de Kermaingant (1843-1920), Eugène Aubry-Vitet (1845-1930), etc., dating from 1892 to 1909, various formats. Text in French, 24 pages. See illustration on page 89. Text: de La Trémouille: Paris, October 1, 1892: "My Dear Monsieur de Kermaingant Monseigneur le Comte de Paris instructs me to ask Madame de Kermaingant and you to give him the pleasure of coming to see him at Stone on Saturday, October 1, until Monday, October 3." The Duke of Luynes, October 5th, '97: "The Prince wants you to know that he would be very happy if you would come on the 20th or 21st and spend Christmas at Woodnorton. You'll certainly have two days of hunting while you're at the Norton, so you'd better bring your rifles." Eugene Aubry-Vitet: Woodnorton, November 29th, 1904: "Yesterday and today we had two very big hunts, but as there were 7000 catches, there will be a proud amount left, and the Prince told me to count on you to kill them when he comes back here. The Queen spoke of you again just now - I was walking back with her - in the most affectionate and flattering terms.
