Set of 5 L.A.S. and C.A.S.: "Isabelle", addressed to Countess Xavier Villeneuve-Bargemont, née Yvonne Laffleur de Kermaingant (1873-1967), lady-in-waiting of the Duchess of Guise, dating from 1899 to 1909, various formats, including a letter on letterhead decorated with her monogram. Text in French, 10 pages. Attached are two photographic postcards depicting portraits of the Princess at various times in her life, with her autograph signature at the bottom of each picture and a set of 6 L.A.S.: "Isabelle", addressed to the Countess of Kermaingant, née Yvonne Laffleur de Kermaingant (1873-1967), dated 1906 to 1955. Text: - Folkestone, November 2, 94: "I thank you with all my heart for the lovely present you have kindly given me on the occasion of my marriage, I am deeply touched, I assure you. I was very sorry that you could not attend the ceremony on the 30th, I would have been so happy to see you" - Saint-Firmin, March 1st 1906 : "It was so sweet to spend a few moments at your home, that I am constantly thinking about it. And it is in the bottom of my heart that I thank you and your husband for the so devoted affection I found there. Jean came back delighted with his stay in Denmark, delighted also to have met the Kaiser who spoke to him very friendly in the purest French. But, what an unbearable man!" - Paço das Necessidades, 24th February 1908: "I cannot tell you how much your sympathy and yours has touched and moved us, and I am charged to convey the thanks of my mother and sister, to whom I join my own.
