CUP AND SAUCER IN PORCELAIN OF THE MANUFACTURE FEUILLET IN PARIS. Decorated with a polychrome portrait representing King Louis XVIII (1755-1824), signed and dated right "Baltz, 1816", after a portrait painted by Baron Gérard, framed by a gold cartouche with palmette decoration, on the back appear two coats of arms with the great coat of arms of France in matt gold on a satin gold background. Jasmine" shaped cup, with a flared and curved neck, raised handle with a crosier, resting on three lion's paws, inside with a satin gold background. The saucer is slightly flared and rests on a heel, alternately decorated with trophies and flowers in matt gold on a gold background. Mark on the reverse of the cup in green letters "Feuillet, rue de la Paix, n°20", circa 1816. Very good condition, wear of time on the saucer. H.: 11 cm - Diam.: 8.5 cm and 14 cm. History: J. Our cup is a rare example of his expertise on porcelain.
