ABDULMECEDID I, Ottoman Sultan (1823-1861). Commemorative bronze medal signed Laurent Hart (1810-1860), commemorating the war of the triple alliance France-England-Turkey against Russia in 1854. Decorated on one side with a portrait of the sultan, surrounded by cartouches with the names of the main generals of the Crimean War, alternating with trophies of arms. And on the other side of a depiction of Victory sitting on a pyramid, the inscription "Victory - Napoleon - 1854 - The Black Sea and the Danube will be free" with a view of a mosque in the background and at its feet a snake with the inscription "God wills it". Very good condition. Diameter: 7 cm
