Folded fan, application from England, late 19th century. Lace sheet with bobbins and needle lace applied to a mechanical tulle. Elegant decoration with garlands of flowers in spindles and a beautiful ML numeral made at the Point de Gaze and girdled with a baron's tortilla. Finely pierced, engraved and burgautéed white mother-of-pearl frame, the throat decorated with three cartouches: a bouquet of wild flowers in the centre and music trophies for the other two. Frame height: 24,5 cm Leaf height: 17,5 cm. (leaf in good condition, a restoration to the plume, acc. to a strand)
