Volant en Point de France, needle, late 17th century. Needlework lace of great finesse with a very typical decoration of the first Point de France created according to the drawings of the ornamentalist Jean Bérain. Alternating mirror, candelabra, foliage and well-structured cartouches, enhanced by raised embroidery, large pitted mesh networks. Ivory linen.
