Four borders in Counted Stitch, Italy, late 16th-early 17th century
In linen embroidered in white, the most remarkable one with stylized birds decoration, the eyes decorated with black glass beads, Dim. 36 cm x 2,5 cm, two with small geometric motifs in repetition, Dim. 37 cm x 9 cm and 35 cm x 5,5 cm, and a Punto Tagliato with pomegranate decoration, foliage and friezes of small motifs, Dim. 52 cm x 12,5 cm. Cream-coloured linen.
Four borders of cutwork dating from the end of the 16th/beginning of the 17th century, one with stylised birds with eyes of black glass beads Dim. 36 cm x 2,5cm, two with differents geometrical motifs Dim. 37 cm x 9 cm & 35 cm x 5,5 cm, and a Punto Tagliato with leaves and pomegranata motifs, Dim. 52 cm x 12,5 cm. (some splits and repairs, some little stains)
