LIVING ROOM TABOURET. In stained natural wood, oval shape, resting on four carved and fluted legs joined by an open-worked crosspiece in the middle in the shape of an X, not original upholstery. Slight wear and tear, but good condition. French work in the Louis XVI style. As is. H.: 50 cm - W.: 49,5 cm - D.: 36 cm. See illustration page 66. Provenance: this stool was in the bedroom of Prince Felix Youssoupoff on the first floor of his Parisian residence located at 38 rue Pierre-Guérin, as can be seen on the photo on page 55.
