Blooming roses, circa 1921 Folded fan, balloon-shaped, needle lace leaf decorated with an abundance of roses in the center, completed with a rich border of roses. Very finely pierced, carved, engraved and gilt blonde tortoiseshell* frame. Two volutes frame a dance scene in the taste of the 18th century". Exceptionally signed on the right "N. Guy" (?). Presented by Duvelleroy, this frame is illustrated in the article by Roger de Nereÿs, "Variations sur l'écaille", in La renaissance de l'Art français et des industries du luxe, January 1921, p. 367. H.t. 30 cm - H.f. 19 cm (very good condition) In a box covered with cream silk chiffon "MTM".
