Don Quixote at the Duchess's house, circa 1840-1850 Folded fan, the double sheet of paper lithographed and enhanced in colour after Coypel's engraving illustrating the famous novel by the Spanish author Cervantés. Signed on the left "Ant° Pascual". Antonio Pascual y Abad (1809-1882) is an engraver and lithographer from Valencia, Spain. He was rewarded at the regional exhibitions of 1845 and 1851 for his lithographs and fan sheets. Reverse: conversation in the garden in the taste of the 18th century. Bone frame pierced, engraved and gilded. Metal belly. H.t. 27 cm-H.F. 13,5 cm (restorations)
