Oval view 7,2 x 5,6 cm, in an oval red morocco case 8,5 x 7,1 cm. Gross weight: 49,25 gr.
Legrand was a pupil of Descamp in Rouen and then of David in Paris. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1796 to 1814. His miniatures are rare.
