Rare bronze figure of a dog wearing a collar with bells and scratching its ear. Germany, 16th century. H.: 6 cm. Our dog is similar to the model created by the Master of the Amserdam Cabinet: Old bulldog scratching, dry point made around 1485 or those of Georges Schweiger after an engraving of the so-called "Hausbuchmeister" from the Renaissance period of Dürer around 1600.
