Important planter in orientalist earthenware. It consists of a large earthenware vase resting on a base with four columns, with floral decoration of orientalist style. The tones of blue monochrome are characteristic of both the production of Massier and Orientalism of the nineteenth century, especially in the field of ceramics. Around 1880, Delphin Massier's workshop (1836-1907). The Massier family is a dynasty of ceramists settled since the XVIIth century in Vallauris. H.
