Emre Orhun is an illustrator of Turkish nationality, born in China, Lyonnais of adoption since 1993, trained in drawing at the Émile Cohl School in Lyon. For his creations, he most often uses the scratch card technique, which he first saw in a comic strip by underground artist Thomas Ott. He has published a large number of albums for children's publishing but also works regularly for the national press ("Le Monde", "XXI", "Libération"...). 2010, he publishes Erzsebet with Glénat, the story of the famous bloodthirsty Hungarian countess Erzsebet Bathory
