Set of two L.A.S. from Gustave Simon, French journalist and writer, addressed to the Isola brothers [Émile (1860-1945) and Vincent (1862-1947), magicians and directors of numerous theaters in Paris, known as the Isola brothers], July 26, 1909, in-4°, 3 pages: "(...) I am organizing festivities for the fiftieth anniversary of The Legend of the Centuries from September 26 to October 3. I saw Mr. the Minister of Public Education and Mr. the Under-Secretary of State for Fine Arts. In my program there is a single performance of Marie Tudor which will be given on the evening of September 28; Marie Tudor will be played by Miss Cécile Sorel..." and of February 12, 1910, in-4°, 1 page: "(...) Would you be so kind as to lend me the foyer of the Gaîté for two hours in the afternoon, and in all seven days except, of course, Thursday and Sunday. I would like to be able to repeat the 2nd act of Le Roi s'amuse that I am giving on February 27 for Victor Hugo's birthday at the Société des Ingénieurs civils...".
