Receipts and expenses State of the [financial] situation on January 1, 1789 of the baron de Breteuil (2 manuscript pages folio). Interesting detail of the receipts (among which the pensions of the order of the Holy Spirit, the wages of State Councillor and Treasurer of the King's household, as well as the salary of Secretary of State) and of the annual expenses (among which 15 000 livres per month for the current expenses) from which a profit of nearly 50 000 livres, knowing that 150 000 livres remain to be paid for the works of the castle of Dangu (Eure) and of his Parisian hotel Brief statement of account that renders to Mgr the good de Breteuil... of the receipts and expenses that he made during the year 1784 (2 pages folio). Detail of various receipts (annuities, life annuities, etc.) for 209 000 livres approximately and expenditure (sums given to certain people, books, subscription to the Small posters, paper mill, chocolates, loan to the architect Bernard Poyet, charitable works, etc.) for 181 000 livres approximately. Account of the receipts and expenditure which I made for monseigneur the baron de Breteüil... (5 sheets in-4) January-April and June 1789. The receipts are in particular constituted of the incomes of Dangu, of the rents on the king and the duke of Orleans, of a share of the incomes of his daughter, the countess of Matignon, and emoluments and pensions (house of the king, states of Béarn, government of Maubeuge, order of the Holy Spirit). In addition to the cash delivered to the baron de Breteuil and the taxes (marc d'or, capitation, tax on the poor, right of entry of goods into Paris), the expenses concern the fees of the surgeon, the illumination of the hotel, the craftsmen, the expenses of the house (Paris and Dangu), the purchase of books, the pension of the chaplain, etc. Accounts of the year 1788 (24 sheets in folio bound). Details of emoluments (office of secretary to the king, government of Maubeuge), annuities on the king and the duke of Orleans, pension of the order of the Holy Spirit, sale of silverware and a saddle horse, etc. then expenses: Dangu (life of the estate, works and suppliers), interest on loans, "purchase of furniture for the hotel in Paris", repairs and illumination of the hotel, "purchase of furniture for the castle of Dangu", "gazette and subscriptions for various works", dwelling in Santo Domingo, taxes, "pensions, alms and charities", surgeon, pavilion of the Mail, life of the house, "works of Winkelmann", "piano forte", "to the committee of the district of the Feuillants for the contribution to the national guard", etc. State of the incomes of M. the baron de Breteüil on the 1st of September 1789 to be used to determine his patriotic contribution & State of all the incomes of the emigré Breteuil... They amount to 553 970 livres (of which more than 50 000 for the suppliers), to which "it would be necessary to still add the debts of made la csse de Matignon". Receipt for the discharge of Breteuil (2 pages in-8). Receipt of 6000 livres, on March 23, 1788, as proceeds from the sale of the Magnan dwelling, signed by Bernardin de Malartic.
